Cusco/Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu
Trekking, Andes, History & Culture, Camping
The Inca Trail is the most iconic hike on the continent, and possibly the planet.
On this 4-day trek you'll walk the very pathways created by the Incas centuries ago. It will lead you through high mountain passes, from ancient ruin to ancient ruin, and down into orchid dotted cloud forests all the way to the mystical Inti Punku Sun Gate. Along the way you'll get stunning views of distant snowy peaks and valley rivers, and camp beneath starry Andean skies just as the Incas themselves did. And just like their trek, yours will culminate by passing through the Sun Gate and arriving at the awe-inspiring lost city of Machu Picchu. You'll be accompanied the whole way by one of our expert guides who'll share with you the fascinating history of everything you discover on your trek.
There's no more special way of experiencing the world wonder of Machu Picchu than by immersing yourself in its landscapes and trekking there the way the Incas once did, True Peru invites you on the journey of a lifetime!
