On this trip you'll soar through the skies high above the Sacred Valley before visiting the lost city of Machu Picchu. After beginning in Cusco, you'll be transported to one of our flying zones (we'll select the best site based on the day's weather). After training from our registered pilot, he'll then accompany you as you take to the skies to take in the spectacular 360 degree panorama of the Sacred Valley's snowy mountain peaks, ancient ruins and terraced farmlands. Back on land, you'll take a train journey through sub-tropical mountains to Aguas Calientes where your trip will climax with a day exploring the stunning world wonder of Machu Picchu. You'll be accompanied by an expert guide who'll share with you the history of this incredible world wonder. Viewing the Sacred valley from a condor's eye before experiencing Machu Picchu the very next day really is a once in a lifetime experience. Itinerary: Day 1 8am pick-up in Cusco 45 minute transport to flying zone Paragliding Transport to Ollantaytambo Visit to Ollantaytambo ruins (time permitting as duration of flight depends on weather) 4.35pm train to Aguas Calientes 7.30pm arrival in Aguas Calientes Dinner and sleep in Hatun Inti Classic Hotel Day 2 4am breakfast 5.30am bus to Machu Picchu (you can hike this if you prefer!) 2.5 hour tour of Machu Picchu Optional hike up Huayna Picchu (not included in price) Bus (or hike) back to Aguas Calientes Lunch in Aguas Calientes 2.30pm train to Ollantaytambo Onward transport to Cusco Children under 12 years of age get a discount of $100 GP043
