3-Day Manu Cultural Zone Adventure

ALL ABOUT THIS TRIP

This 3-day trip will take you from Cusco, through the tropical foothills of the Andes, and onwards into Manu National Park deep in the Amazon Jungle. Manu National Park is a protected area of the Peruvian rainforest rich in biodiversity. You'll begin your journey there with a spectacular bus ride downwards through the cloud forests of the eastern slopes of the Andes, where you'll stop to search for some of the local wildlife, such as quetzals, tucanets, hummingbirds, and woolly monkeys, and spend the night in Bamboo Lodge. The next day, you'll continue your journey into the Amazon Basin itself, where you'll travel by boat along the Alto Madre de Dios River to the Rio de Oro Lodge. From here, you'll take treks through the jungle in search of more wildlife, explore the Machuwasi Lake by raft, take a night trek to look for caiman, and visit a parrot clay lick to observe an array of parrot species.
