This trip takes you on 3 days of mountain-biking and trekking through Amazonian cloud forest on your way to the ancient lost city of Machu Picchu. This recently discovered and less-travelled route is no less historic than the famous Inca Trail, it was in fact the most important trade route with Amazon tribes during the Inca era. You'll spend 1 day biking and 2 days trekking through Andean jungle, camping beneath the stars, encountering the Inca ruins of Huamanmarca and local communities along your way, before finally arriving at the most incredible site on the continent, Machu Picchu. The whole way you'll be accompanied by an expert guide to share the history of everything you find.
