The Salkantay Trek takes you on an incredibly diverse route through Andean valleys and grasslands, snow carpets, lagoons, cloud forests and steamy jungles before leading you to the world wonder of Machu Picchu. On this trip you'll take in the most spectacular views of the snowy peaks of the Salkantay and camp beneath the stars before joining up with the recently discovered Inca Jungle Trail, which was the most important trade route with jungle tribes during the Inca era. Along the way you'll visit ancient ruins before reaching the greatest Inca site of all, Machu Picchu.
