This trip is an incredible way to take in Peru, all the way from the Andes to the Amazon, in just 8 days. You'll begin in Cusco, where you'll tour this ancient Inca capital before exploring the most important Inca ruins in the surrounding area, Saqsaywoman, Quenqo, Puka Pucara, and Tambomachay. Next, you'll explore the nearby Sacred Valley, before spending a day at the stunning world wonder of Machu Picchu. From here you'll descend further into the jungle where you'll spend 3 days in Peru’s capital of biodiversity, Puerto Maldonado. You'll explore the jungle by boat and on various treks, hopefully spotting a huge array of wildlife and meeting the people of a local community. Your accommodation will be the Cortes Maltes Lodge on the banks of the Madre de Dios River, you'll stay in your own bungalow with a private bathroom with hot water, electricity, as well as a deck with hammocks.
