
1-day urubamba river rafting
This trip is perfect for adventure seekers looking for an adrenaline-pumping white water experience in the heart of Peru's stunning natural landscapes.
The Urubamba River runs from high in the Andes, through the Sacred Valley, past Machu Picchu, and into the Amazon Basin before joining the mighty Amazon River. On this 1-day adventure you'll join at the Chuquicahuna section of the river, a clean stretch of water offering fantastic class II and III rafting opportunities (or higher during rain season!). Whilst enjoying the thrills of the ride you'll pass through spectacular mountain landscapes and stands of eucalyptus trees and wild flowers, the whole way our guides will be on hand to ensure your safely and of course to take photos of your adventure!
You'll end the day with a sauna and hot shower, and optional zip-lining across the river if you're ready for more adventure.

Itinerary:
Early morning pick-up from Cusco
1.5 hour journey to Cusipata Section of Urubamba River
Safely talk and issuing of equipment
2.5 hours of rafting down river
Arrival at Cusipata River Camp
Sauna and hot showers
Lunch (included)
Optional zip-lining
Return to Cusco (arriving at approximately 5pm)
