On this trip you'll explore the jungle by boat and on various treks, along the way you'll visit lakes, islands and observations decks where you might see exotic animals such as capybara, caimans, sloths, a variety of monkey species and maybe even the giant otter. An expert guide will be on hand to help.
You'll get to trek to the Lost Pond, a swamp area set in virgin forest which is a haven for species such as otters, caimans, turtles, tapirs, and even the majestic jaguar.

Also included in this extended package is an excursion to the Gamitana River for a refreshing (and safe!) swim and, if you like, fishing too. Here you'll also visit a local family who is dedicated to jungle agriculture.
Your accommodation will be a comfortable bungalow in the EcoAmazonia Lodge in Tambopata in the heart of the Amazon, designed and built with local materials while following standards of environmental and social responsibility.
You'll wake up each day to Amazon's amazing dawn chorus, and round off your days by taking in spectacular Amazonian sunsets. If you have energy left you'll be able to enjoy a drink at the lodge bar and check out its games room.
